The Desert Biome
The desert biome is a very dry and sandy place. As the conditions are so, not all animals can survive in such deadly conditions. Not even humans! The water is scarce, and the sand is extremely hard to walk on. Some animals have adapted over time to such conditions, and they are:
1. Camel - obviously
2. Toads
3. Lizards
4. Spiders
5. Meerkats
6. Vultures
These animals rely on each other, and mostly water from plants to sustain their health. We
all know that the camel stores the fat, not the water in it's hump, but how do the others
survive? Spiders, well, they just trap smaller insects, but mind you, there are a large
selection of them in a desert environment, where nobody bothers them, and they can do
whatever they want in the sand. Lizards also do the same, but these flies and similar
insects couldn't survive if there weren't any cactuses and other desert plants around!
This is how a desert biome works, and this is how their ecosystem survives. Yet another
sandy ecosystem.
